Helen Thomas - Gangsta!
I like Helen Thomas, a white house reporter for 57 years. She has covered every president since JFK, but now President Bush won't call on her during the press conferences. (DrudgeReport) That is so funny to me. I mean, she's quoted as saying "He's (President Bush) supposed to be this macho guy. He'll take on Osama bin Laden, but he won't take me on."
How true. How true, indeed. I wonder what he's afraid she'll ask? Perhaps about weapons of mass distruction? Iraq? Katrina? Abbramoff? Wiretapping?
I guess he has to come up with answers before he calls on her.
She's one tough cookie, and i hope she continues to be a great reporter. Exposing the truth.

The White House will revoke the press pass of well known reporters like Maureen Dowd (who had one for over 15 years), but then will issue a pass to obvious frauds like "James Guckert" or "Jeff Gannon" (or whatever name he's currently using) so they can be lobbed pre-scripted comments and not real questions. Reporters that might ask real questions will never get called on. On a related note, how can a White House that talks so much about what they're doing for our security let a phony reporter, using a fake name, not only access to the White House, but access to a presidential press conference?????? And in conclusion, for a White House that talks so much about values and morals, what if this so called reporter was a gay escort prior to his "journalism" career????
